Jerry Kelly shoots a 7 on the 18th hole giving me the lead over Rick by 1 shot after the first day (this is a big match as we're the only ones who haven't won yet)

On the other end of the spectrum, aaron is up -18 to E in our match. that's right, he has Taylor and Furyk in 1st and 2nd right now (-8 and -7, respectively) and all my guys are hovering around E... looks like a boring weekend for me.

So... Jeff was worried that the recent ruling to allow David to pick up Jonathan Byrd late was going to bite him in the @ss - Byrd was tied for 10th after Round #1. Well, Byrd just withdrew... don't worry about it Jeff.

aaron continues to chug along... it's -27 to -8 right now. i was hoping he'd start to tank, but it looks like Estes is going to be the only guy to miss the cut (and add an extra three shots to my score). yuck.
