Regular Season Wrap Up
We had a wild last week of the season with another TIE, a heartbreaker for Geo (again), a squeaker and a snoozer.
The TIE: Long John Holmes and The Leopards TIED at -70 apiece.
This score total was far and away the lowest of the season.
The Heartbreaker: Choi's Chum took down Men with Yellow Hats -43 to -33.
Despite having more guys playing on the weekend (4 vs 3), Geo still couldn't pull out the win. David locked up the #3 seed and Geo looks forward to Rick's PGA pool.
The Squeaker: Arjun's Army finished off Tommy's Guns -37 to -30.
Jeff's two guys combined for -18 over the weekend, while Rick's three guys could only card a combined -6. Ouch!
The Snoozer: Au Pair Posse dusts You Took Drugs and Arrived DOA Danny! -53 to -13
This one was never in question, with Jon's team only starting John Daly. Time to start working on your draft for next year Jon. Here's a link to get you started.
So with the regular season behind us, the seeds for the playoffs are as follows:
1. Long John Holmes
2. The Au Pair Posse
3. Choi's Chums
4. Tommy's Guns
5. The Leopards
6. Arjun's Army
The playoffs start with the PGA (August 17-20). Here are the Quarterfinal matches:
Game #1: Choi's Chums (3) vs. Arjun's Army (6)
Game #2: Tommy's Guns (4) vs. The Leopards (5)
Please submit your line-ups in the comments section of this post no later than noon on Wednesday August 16th.
Note: Teams eliminated from the playoffs may not add, drop or trade for the remainder of the season. Teams in the playoffs may add/drop per the standard process throughout the playoffs, but trades are no longer allowed.
Playoff Tiebreaker: After much deliberation and hand wringing, here's what I've come up with to break any ties we have in the postseason... If there's a tie in a playoff game, the team with the individual player with the lowest overall score will prevail. If the opponents each have a player with equal low scores we will look to the next lowest score to determine the winner (and so on). If this process is unable to determine a winner, the team with the lower (better) playoff seed will be declared the winner.
Here's the latest spreadsheet (Jeff willing).

10 Comments:
I'm tempted to drop everyone and just ride Arjun to the promised land. But I'm afraid that all he's promised me all season is a blanket party behind the local Taco Bell.
Spreadsheet is up.
