Semi-Final Wrap-Up
Results from the Semi-Final matchups...
Long John Holmes (-4) vs. Tommy's Guns (+15)
Rick's squad faltered out of the gate and Aaron held on for the win. Furyk and Scott anchored LJH and insured a showdown between #1 and #2 in the finals.
Au Pair Posse (-27) vs. Choi's Chums (+3)
Cink and Tiger in a playoff for the Bridgestone Invitational was too much for Choi's Chums. I also want to personally thank George for dropping Trevor Immelman early in the season. With a stacked squad, David's team has to be the odds on favorite for third place. We'll see in the bronze medal match..
Arjun's Army beat The Leopards (+19 to +68)
The Fight for Fifth turned into a knockout, with Hugh's squad laying down for a less-than-overwhelming Kapur's Kadets. Jeff takes home 5th place honors and Hugh settles for sixth.
On to the Gold Medal Game...
Long John Holmes (1) vs. Au Pair Posse (2)
Aaron and I have been headed for a showdown since midway through the season. I'm not thrilled with my lack of players showing up this week (3), but I'll scrap together some starters and give it a go (I guess I should have thought about that when I came up with this schedule).
Bronze Medal Game
Choi's Chums (3) vs. Tommy's Guns (4)
Winner takes home a cool $50.

I'll be submitting my line-up for the first Buick event of 2007 just so I can start the new year on the same note with which I ended 2006.
I feel that my early jump of 4-0 just exhausted my team this year and I'll be choosing golfers who have more stamina.
Names like Nicklaus, Agassi and Duval are all destined to be on my squad.
Thanks for organizing this thing Jim. When's the wrap-up drunk fest and golf outing?

I can't wait for football season. I stunk in every golf pool, the Red Sox are an embarrasment, but, hey did any one know that the US is in the quarterfinals in World Basketball Championships.
