Week #7 Results

A quick run-through of the results from Week #7.

Game of the Week:
Missed Cuts (Jeff) crushed Rick's Jr Varsity Team (Rick) 142-30
Rick fell asleep at the wheel and Jeff cruised to victory. I'm beginning to wonder how many games will fall victim to mis-management? Rick falls into last place, sporting a worse team point total than David, who scored goose-egg in one week. Weak.

Week #6 Results

Game of the Week:
Swinging & Missing (Aaron) beat Birdie Kingdom (Geo) 198-190
Even with Ryuji Imada (the eventual winner) riding the pine, Aaron was able to pull off a close win and sink George deeper into the cellar. With almost identical teams, it was Aaron's selection of Kenny "I was washed up five years ago" Perry in the C slot that proved the difference. George was seen muttering to himself and cursing following the close and painful loss.

Missed Cuts (Jeff) crushed Carjacks 184-156
The Bandits (Hugh) gorged Gunga-Galunga (David) 185-172

This week is the end of the first third of the regular season. It's interesting to see David nearing several owners in total points despite the fact that he took a goose egg in Week #2 of the PGL season.

Week #5 Results

Game of the Week:
Deep Rough (Jim) trounced The Bandits (Hugh) 136-110
Both of us benched Stewart Cink after the second round, but my replacement (Stephen Ames/20 points) out dueled Hugh's (Anthony Kim/4 points) to seal the deal.

Swinging & Missing (Aaron) beat down Carjacks (Babe) 124-114
Gunga-galunga (David) slipped by Rick's Varsity Team (Rick) 106-100

Week # 4 Results

Anthony Kim recorded his first win at the ripe old age of 22 and several PGL owners road his coat tails to victory in week #4.

Game of the Week:
Gunga-galunga (David) beat Carjacks (Babe) 168-132
David stormed out of the basement with an impressive Sunday finish. Shifting Anthony Kim into a starting role for the fourth round combined with a strong finish by Robert Allenby left Babe in the dust. Lackluster final rounds by Vijay Singh and Stewart Cink contributed to Babe's defeat.
